This position is part of the Safety and Thriving Families team withinPrevention and Protection Services (PPS). The role of this position willbe to plan, organize, and direct the PPS Policy Change ManagementProcess through the policy workgroup. They will facilitate regularlyoccurring meetings and work with PPS leadership to finalize policies.This position will also be critical in helping support the continuedaligning of the Kansas Practice Model within Assessment and Preventionthrough support and collaboration with PPS Administration and regions.This position allows for identifying opportunities for improvement andpresenting possible solutions.
Minimum Qualifications:
One year of experience in planning, implementing and monitoringactivities relevant to the agencys programs. Education may besubstituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.Valid Drivers LicensePreferred Qualifications:At least a four-year degree in HumanServices or Behavioral Sciences field of study, preferred degrees aslisted below:Bachelors in social work, Bachelors in psychology,Bachelors in Sociology, Masters in social work, Masters in professionalcounseling, Masters in Marriage and Family Counseling, Masters inMarriage and Family Therapy, Licensed Behaviors Sciences RegulatoryBoard (BSRB) professional

Security Clearance: A background check (KBI - criminal background,welfare fraud, driver's license and Child/Adult Abuse and NeglectCentral Registry) is required for all positions with the Departmentfor Children and Families (DCF) as a condition of employment, whichmay include fingerprinting and FBI check. Security clearance must beobtained prior to employment with DCF.
