This role is responsible for maintaining and customizing the S2P system to match the needs of the organization's procurement procedures, including workflow design, user roles, data fields, and system connectors. Work with the procurement, sourcing, and vendor management teams to understand their needs and convert them into effective system configurations that support the organization's procurement goals. As needed, providing end-user assistance [Buyer, Supplier], troubleshooting system-related issues, and assisting with user access management to ensure that users can browse and use the S2P system efficiently.
The Sytems administrator is responsible for overseeing the correctness and integrity of data inside the S2P system by executing as required data uploads, updates, and validations, as well as guaranteeing data consistency. They will identify opportunities to streamline procurement workflows and processes through system enhancements and configurations, focusing on improving efficiency and reducing cycle times. They will develop and execute test plans to ensure that system configurations align with business requirements and objectives, and that changes are error-free. They will also maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, user guidelines, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and training.
The systems administrator will ensure that system configurations comply with security policies, regulatory requirements, and data protection standards. They will liaise with S2P system vendors to report and resolve system-related issues, advocate for necessary enhancements, and stay updated on system updates and releases, support change management initiatives related to system updates, new features, and process changes, ensuring users are informed and prepared for changes. They will also communicate changes in templates or supplier onboarding process including training when appropriate. They are responsible for making improvements to the catalog management processes and ensure standard processes are followed and will provide support / assistance in creating reports from S2P system as per business requirement. They will also provide support to increase user adoption of S2P system while maintaining internal incident tracker. Lastly, they will provide relevant incident related inputs for Business review meetings.
