RVP, Solution Consulting
The RVP of Solution Consulting is highly experienced and possesses extensive knowledge of people development, market-leading solutions, Cornerstone’s business, clients and competitors. You will be responsible for leading a strong SC team that is a key part of the sales process. The RVP must develop and mentor a strong SC team who can effectively demonstrate how Cornerstone’s solutions will meet client needs and stated business objectives. You will be responsible for creating a pre-sales consulting capability that will differentiate Cornerstone in the marketplace and ensure successful sales outcomes.
The RVP of Solution Consulting works in partnership with Sales Leaders and their teams. The Solution Consulting team supports the sales team to differentiate Cornerstone by listening to clients, establishing trust and credibility, and challenging them to think differently about talent development. Successful candidates will uniquely position Cornerstone as the “partner-of-choice” and clearly show how that partnership will deliver value to the client’s organization.
The RVP of Solution Consulting should also work cross-functionally with other parts of the Cornerstone organization to bring expertise, knowledge, and insight that will help those parts of the company increase and improve their performance output. You will be able to utilize the right resources in each situation to optimize the effectiveness of the Solution Consulting organization within sales or when working cross-functionally.

As the RVP of Solution Consulting, you will report directly to the VP of Solution Consulting.

Stay abreast of and leverage industry trends
Work with sales teams to drive and grow opportunities
Set internal trends and improve best practices
Understand prospective clients' business environments
Assist in aligning client needs, goals, and objectives to solutions
Understand competitors' solutions and be able to position effectively against them
Accurately communicate simple and complex solutions
Ensure proactive team preparedness for internal innovation and change
Prepare the team and adapt to external change drivers

You’ve got what it takes if you have...
A very strong background in software solution pre-sales at the executive c-level
Extensive pre-sales experience in HCM, Talent Management, or HR software
The ability to manage and work with a geographically dispersed team
Proven experience performing at a high level
Strong drive to achieve results with minimal supervision
Excellent communication, presentation, time management and organizational skills
Strong leadership, relationship building, problem solving, and creative thinking skills
Ability to work within and across teams and coordinate activities involving several participants
The mentality of a self-starter who assumes responsibility, recognizes problems, provides well though-out solutions and takes initiatives to create them
