Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on RV chassis, following manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices. Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs or replacements. Use specialized tools and diagnostic equipment to accurately diagnose problems and determine the most effective repair solutions. Replace and repair faulty components or systems, ensuring proper installation and functionality. Keep accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job. Collaborate with other technicians and team members to efficiently complete repairs and projects. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer concerns and explaining repairs and maintenance procedures. Stay updated on industry advancements, technical information, and RV manufacturer guidelines to enhance knowledge and skills. Other duties as assigned by the manager. WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES: Required to perform work inside and outside, in all-weather situations, at the shop division location. Requires frequent sitting, standing, balancing, bending or stooping for prolonged periods of time. Manual dexterity, fine manipulation and the ability to reach with hands and arms and lift up to 80 lbs. Must be able to operate simple to complex and heavy-duty machinery. Normal range of hearing and vision. REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Driver's License and MVR in good standing. Previous experience working as an RV Chassis Technician or in a similar role. Solid understanding of RV chassis systems, including suspension, brakes, electrical systems, and drivetrain components. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing complex issues related to RV chassis. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve technical problems efficiently. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members. Must provide your own tools. Ability to multitask and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner. Reliable and strong work ethic. Excellent verbal and communication skills. Detail oriented.
