ROLE SUMMARY
The Risk Resilience Planner is responsible for risk management within Global Workplace Experience, providing direction and guidance in EHS reporting, business resilience, risk / crisis management and compliance.
Reporting directly to the Business Risk Management Lead, the Risk Resilience Planner is responsible for protecting business operations by maintaining high standards and readiness across global locations and third-party providers. This role involves developing risk management strategies to enhance site resilience and prevent or minimize operational disruptions.
Policy Program Management
Collaborate with the Business Risk Management Lead to formulate a comprehensive strategy encompassing EHS, business resilience, risk management, and compliance reporting oversight.
Act as the primary liaison with Global Workplace Experience RD and Commercial EHS teams.
Risk Analysis
Horizon scanning for new and emerging hazards and threats.
Monitor and manage new regulations and share guidance with site teams.
Monitor / assess Global Workplace Experience risk and determine appropriate response.
Operational Control
Create and update policies, procedures, and guidelines related to regulatory requirements and best practices.
Participating in the development, implementation and use of digital resilience solutions.
Manage regulatory EHS reporting requirements.
Working in collaboration with strategic partners; create and refresh guidelines and procedures for risk management related programs (e.g., risk assessment, ergonomics, driver safety, environment and sustainability, business resilience).
Identify external key stakeholders concerned with EHS issues (e.g., fire and rescue department, environmental organizations) and create strategies for their active involvement.
Develop comprehensive training and exercise programs to support global risk, resilience and compliance activities.
Provide training / support to EHS colleagues within business verticals on Global Workplace Experience reporting methodologies and tools.
Incident Response
Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response, business continuity and crisis management plans.
Represent Global Workplace Experience on emergency, business continuity and crisis teams within Pfizer.
Respond to escalated compliance issues from verticals.
Communication Awareness
Design and deliver EHS, business resilience and risk management communications to increase awareness and engagement.Performance Monitoring
Maintain the accuracy and integrity of EHS data from various business verticals.
Consolidate EHS KPIs and share with stakeholders.
Collect, monitor and assess business resilience plans and strategies.
Audit
Maintain oversight of GWE applicable audits and provide audit lifecycle support to sites.Continuous Improvement
Undertake Management System Reviews of the Global Workplace Experience risk management program.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree in business or technical discipline
A minimum of seven years of experience as a leader in business resilience, EHS and / or risk management operations, focusing on the design and execution of strategic business solutions.
Experience in establishing and implementing business resilience principles, risk management, etc.
Excellent interpersonal skills, leadership ability and facilitation skills at and across all levels of GWE.
Strong project management skills.
Ability to manage virtual teams simultaneously.
Experience in building strong customer relationships.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Masters Degree in an EHS, risk management or business resilience related field.
Understanding of Pharmaceutical RD operations
Professional membership of EHS and / or resilience related organization(s) (e.g., DRI, BCI, IOSH)
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work flexibly to accommodate global time zones as well as the unpredictable nature of emergency, continuity and crisis management response.

In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 12.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
