Description: Control deficiencies analysis and remediation. Stewardship of, and fulfillment on, regulator, audit, and self identified risk/audit issues, including related processes, content, communications, sustainability transitions and monitoring. Identifying gaps and defining solutions to remediate the gaps, create controls and ensure sustainability in Client Overview Part of the GCFT organization, responsible for supporting enhanced governance and controls framework through Specific Responsibilities
Analyze control deficiencies, identify enhancements.
Refine documentation for more complex control deficiencies to drive actionable business impact.
Identify control trends in business areas, as well as impact to the business of any identified observations/ gaps.
Define potential solutions, write requirements for the application teams to remediate the gaps and
support the implementation of the solutions.
Enhance compliance of applications with policies/standards.
Facilitate communication with stakeholders and application teams, maintain and promote transparency
in reporting root causes of risk issues, escalations, options and resolution initiatives.
Contribute to enhancing and/or developing approaches / mechanisms that facilitate identification of gaps and
observations that require remediation and
Implementation of controls to enhance governance and oversight.
Review and analyze identified risk issues across GFCT applications and beyond to identify relevance
to the GFCT space and incorporate in the Controls Framework.
Review compliance of applications with standards and policies and provide guidance on risk issues leading to
formalized escalation and selfidentification of issues.
Guide and support creation and implementation of issues resolution action plans.
Support application teams in complying with critical deadlines on risk issues, including audits and exams, by
providing input on remediation efforts supporting completion of key action steps.
Support sustainability routines on remediated risk issues.
Work experience in financial technology sector with risk processes, controls, policies, and standards (data management, systems, infrastructure, change management, business continuity, infosec, etc.).
Material experience in working on audits/ risk issues and or with audit teams, regulators, risk consultants or other stakeholders involvedin addressing exams / audit requests and risk issues.
Proven ability to coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes/deliverables.
Minimum of 10 years of experience.
Experience of working with / familiarity with policies / standards (in particular, those aligned to Technology applications in the banking industry)
Experience with complex crossfunctional initiatives.
Skilled in use of Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA, Tableau.
Technology background is a plus.
