The Team:
The Enterprise and Global Risk Management (GRM) Issues Management and Business Controls Team is a part of the Global Regulatory Relations & Enterprise Issues organization. You will join a collaborative global team that sits in the US, UK and APAC. You will interact with leaders at all levels within the organization, both locally in Region and Enterprise-wide. In addition, you will gain exposure and develop the ability to influence and ensure adequate Regulator responses.
Role Description:
Our Enterprise Issues Management & Business Controls team is seeking a Regulatory Issues Management Manager to join our team, supporting Regulator Issue Responses in EMEA. You will provide counsel to business unit managers on risk management issues. Identifies risks to which the LOB is exposed and implements measures to prevent, eliminate or mitigate losses, and monitors outcomes/risk levels. You will need to recognize all risk categories including credit, market, operational and compliance and bringing appropriate risk expertise as needed. You will need to be accountable for conducting execution of risk framework activities.
Responsibilities:
Developing and managing relationships with the FLUs/CFs, Risk and Audit in region, partnering effectively with them on the Regulatory issues management processesPartnering with the FLU/CFs, Risk and Audit in Region, to develop robust regulatory responses to regulatory findings. This includes assistance with conducting an effective root cause analysis and horizontal review of the findings to ensure there are no repeat occurrences in other areas of BofA.Providing advice and counsel on the end-to-end issue management process for Regulatory Issues and connecting regional responses to corresponding Enterprise efforts; including monitoring and overseeing regulatory issues to ensure they remain on track and escalate any concerns with timely and sustainable remediation.Conducting data mining and performing thematic analysis on regulatory issues and letters to determine themes and trends.Coordinating written management responses for regulatory findings/issues.Executing QA routines to ensure FLU/CFs are adhering to the Issues Policy and driving consistency in regulatory issue management processes across the Company.

Demonstrable experience in one or more of the following: issues management, exam management, regulatory interactions and/or risk managementExcellent project management skills; attention to detail; ability to drive projects to conclusionAbility to influence at all levels, including senior executivesAbility to analyse and synthesize regulatory issue information to get to the true heart of the issuesExcellent presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to present key messages, recommendations and information in a clear, concise, and insightful way and synthesize information key to relevant points
