About Risk, Compliance, and Governance Specialist, Global Marketing

  Minimum qualifications:

  Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 4 years of experience in a Risk Management, Compliance, Legal, or Management Consulting role.

  Experience driving projects, communicating progress, and results.

  Preferred qualifications: Experience with thought leadership in a project management setting. Experience identifying insights, driving strategy, and launching programs to deliver impact. Experience operating in a changing work environment with the ability to manage time efficiently and navigate ambiguity. Ability to summarize research/data and simplify into effective communication.

  Excellent problem-solving skills.

  Google's Marketing Operations team programs are focused on Agency Management, Production Operations, Program Management, Contract Operations and Marketing Risk, Compliance, and Governance. As a Risk, Compliance, and Governance Specialist for Marketing, you will be at the forefront of promoting responsible innovation and building trust in the potential of technology in Marketing.

  You will help develop, manage, and implement compliance programs in Marketing to ensure the policies, guidelines, and laws and regulations that impact innovative programs are followed. You will also ensure the business achieves its goals consistent with the law and the company's expectations as part of the Risk, Compliance, and Governance team within Marketing Operations.

  Working with Google's central compliance team you will join a community of experienced compliance leaders to advocate for an enterprise-wide culture of compliance, providing effective guidance to employees across Marketing teams. You will regularly engage with the broader Marketing leadership team across compliance topics.

  The US base salary range for this full-time position is $102,000-$149,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

  Responsibilities

  Support the development and execution of risk assessments in Marketing, and design follow-up programs to address and mitigate key risks.

  Draft documentation for the compliance program, including developing templates, aligning with partners, and getting input from stakeholders.

  Partner with Google teams within and outside of Marketing to implement processes to deliver the long term mitigation of risk.

  Work with business/process owners to develop effective processes, policies, controls, and metrics that ensure compliance of relevant standards.

  Influence and assist business/process owners to close gaps in their controls and adopt processes that will help the growth of the business in a compliant manner.
