Job Description Summary
As part GE Aerospace Engineering, the Advanced Lead Engineer will be responsible for the mechanical design, manufacture, and delivery of hardware used in the development testing of the next generation of narrow body jet engines. You will be required to push the boundaries of what is possible with the latest technologies and materials developed at GE Aerospace. This role is a part of the Frames Design team reporting the team manager.
Job Description
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute the design and analysis of engine structures using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and program requirementsProvide technical guidance that influences outcomes to other people supporting moderate complex tasks; mentor others in the organizationAssure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned hardware consistent with engineering policies and proceduresDevelop action plans, with guidance, to respond to issues/ problemsRecommend, with guidance, the approach to meet the technical and program requirementsParticipate as a presenter in technical and program reviews with internal and external customers
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited university or college.At least 3 additional years of experience in a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering position.
