Description: Engineering & Technology Chief Engineer for Advanced Programs primarily supporting a newly created RF Sensor Center of Excellence (COE). The successful candidate will be the RF Sensor COE Chief Engineer responsible for technical execution including design, development, qualification, and transition to production activities. Manages all contract technology and product development, technical solution and approach definition for capture, sensor technology roadmaps, and IRAD efforts for future product line growth and sustainment. Serves as Engineering and Technology Interface with LM Organizational Stakeholders and Customers. This position will report to the Chief Engineer Director of Advanced Programs, and support the Program Director Advanced RF Systems.
This role requires gaining alignment of key technical requirements and capabilities across multiple lines of business programs, as well as other LM Business Areas, to achieve commonality and economies of scale. The candidate should have demonstrated a track record of collaborating across organizations to meet strategic objectives.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with advanced RF seeker development including hardware and signal processing.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary technical teams.
• Experience with complex missile design, development and qualification.
• Familiarity with working in complex security environments.
• Experience effectively managing cross-site IPTs.
• Position requires excellent leadership skills.
• Demonstration of all the tenants of Full Spectrum
• Leadership in previous assignments is a must.
• Candidate must have a Secret clearance with an investigation in the past five years.
• Candidate must be available for potentially frequent domestic travel.
Desired Skills:
• Track record of managing product development to maximize reuse and commonality for multiple program stakeholders.
• Experience transitioning sensor designs into production including test and calibration infrastructure.
• Product line technical management experience to meet the needs of multiple internal customer programs.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
