Job Description
A client of Insight Global is seeking a Revenue and Regulatory Supervisor in the Houston, TX area. The Revenue and Regulatory Supervisor will serve as a key member of the First Purchaser Outsourcing team and will be responsible for overseeing third party revenue functions for client accounts. Additional Responsibilities include the following:
* Ensure all client revenue is processed timely, accurately, by industry standard and/or per the client requested method.
* Ensure all client regulatory requirements are met on time and in accordance with each government entity, state and federal.
* Assist in the review and maintenance of account reconciliations for all related GL accounts.
* Coordinate with Division Order and Escheat team to assist with DOI setup and maintenance associated with revenue distribution and federal and state ownership.
* Research new, and stay up to date on, regulatory requirements.
* Maintain formal processes to ensure compliance as needed.
* Oversee new client set up for revenue & regulatory functions, attend all required onboarding meetings, provide guidance and recommendations on best practices to internal teams and clients.
* Assist management with the development and maintenance of department procedures to improve efficiencies and maintain controls.
* Provide management with regular updates on special projects and client issues.
* Build and maintain client relationships.
Skills and Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field of study.
* Candidates must have minimum of eight (8) years of experience with a combination of Revenue and Regulatory functions within oil and gas.
* Candidate with at least three (3) years leadership or supervisory experience within a Revenue and/or Regulatory department
* Flexibility, multi-tasking, problem-solving, time management, and organization skills.
* Must have strong professional presence and effective verbal/written communication.
* Must be a team player and have ability to work with other departments.
* Advanced proficiency with MS Excel is required. * Proficiency in BOLO preferred. null
