JOB SUMMARY
Cresco Labs is seeking a Pharmacist in our growing dispensary. In this role the Pharmacist ensures that our patients' needs are met and exceeded delivering remarkable customer service. The Pharmacist will also provide patients with excellent product knowledge, effective service, and an approachable attitude
CORE JOB DUTIES
Dispense medical cannabis medications based on patient's physician recommendationsIndividual patient consultations to determine the best therapy in conjunction with the recommendations made by patient's physicianMaintain control of the inventory and rotates the inventory as neededSubmit and review the state prescription monitoring programComply with state laws as regulated by the state medical cannabis programMaintain records along with removing outdated and damaged drugs from the dispensary inventorySupervise the work results of support personnel; maintaining current pharmacist registrationMaintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsMaintain pharmacological knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; working to establish personal networksSupport marketing content creation on by-project basis
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD1+ years experience working in a pharmacy setting assisting patients/customersAn active pharmacist license in good standing without restrictions registered in the state of PennsylvaniaExcellent customer service skillsSatisfactory completion of any State required Medical Cannabis education programsAbility to learn and understand cannabinoids and how they interact with the human bodyAbility to work effectively with employees, management, patients, governmental agencies, community members and the general publicUnderstanding of applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives and standard operating procedures.
