This position will ensure the site is equipped with on-site resources, including, but not limited to, upkeep and inventory of food security and clothing resources. This non-supervisory position will assist in all community engagement efforts to ensure the program adheres to all "Good Neighbor" agreements and maintains a responsive approach to all community inquiries and grievances. This position is part of the ESH/PSH leadership team and reports to the ESH/PSH Program Manager.This position is full-time, exempt, and located in Redmond, Washington.Pay Rate: $72,000/yearDuties & ResponsibilitiesMaintain communication with ESH/PSH Program Manager on all contracts, personnel, grievances, IRS, panel reviews, and new contact with outside agencies for potential partnerships.Serves as the primary contact point for outside providers and volunteersMaintain proactive relations with other service organizations.Assist residents to ensure a safe environment, including compliance with rules and policies.Oversee resident activity calendar and resource roomsCoordinate scheduling of provider roomsAssist in the facilitation of resident orientation and resource assessments.Maintain a list of community resources available to residentsProvide superior customer service to all, both internal and community-facingRespond to crisis and inquiry telephone calls by providing support, information, and referrals to other appropriate social service agencies,Represent Salvation Army programs to other community agencies and representatives respectfully and positively.Conduct periodic walking inspections of all areas of the facility to identify and initiate appropriate action (correction, reporting, etc.) for hazards, inappropriate behavior, needed repairs or other notable conditions.Respond to emergencies that may arise, making independent decisions within policy guidelines as necessary.Provide crisis intervention and institute security procedures should a critical or threatening situation arise. Provide timely and appropriate notification to police, fire, emergency medical, and supervisory authorities.Provide orientation, support, and supervision to volunteers.Assist with the orientation and training of new staff, volunteers, and interns.Work cooperatively with other Salvation Army staff and programs.Participate in staff meetings.Create and maintain physical files as needed.Generate reports as needed and/or assignedPrepare general correspondence as requested, including form letters.Education & ExperienceCollege degree preferred or equivalent experience in a comparable positionHS Diploma or GED requiredKnowledge of community resourcesMinimum of one-year experience in public contact/customer serviceMinimum of two years administrative experienceMini
