Residential Manager $60,000/Annually
The Opportunity
The RHY Residential Manager will supervise the operations of Nassau Haven and Walkabout Transitional Residence in coordination with the Program Director and Case Managers to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of service to clients as defined by agency policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
I mplement residential training curriculum as required by RHY core curriculum with residents and staff.
Ensure the program is operating in compliance with all regulatory and funding sources.
Implement the daily program and monitor the orientation of new residents.
Coordinate the fiscal requirements of the program, monthly reports, i.e. petty cash, credit card reconciliation, fire reports, vehicle maintenance reports money management, and recreation as assigned.
Conduct weekly house meetings in conjunction with Case Manager/Career Counselor.
Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of the house and program vehicle.
Meet with the Program Director on a regular basis to discuss overall program effectiveness.
Monitor the purchasing of program provisions and supplies.
Ensure that there is proper staff coverage for shifts.
Coordinate and supervise the hiring, training, and documentation for residential staff.
Must be on-call for any emergency situations.
Qualifications
High School Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience with residential care or with adolescents required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient computer skills required
Valid New York State Driver's License required.

This role is full-time (35 hours/week),Exempt.
