About Reservations Agent - Denali National Park

  Job Description

  The Reservations Agent is responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction by booking reservations, assisting with guest needs, and resolving or escalating any guest concerns or issues.

  About Denali National Park:? Doyon/Aramark Joint Venture is the Denali National Park Concessionaire. Open May to September, our guests come to take in the majesty of Mount Denali, the highest point in North America. Our operation manages the transportation, retail, guest service and food and beverage concessions with our client; Park Service. The park welcomes over half a million visitors per year. By road, the area is 5 hours from Anchorage and 2 hours from Fairbanks. Buses traverse the 90-mile road daily throughout the warm summer months, allowing people to hike, view wildlife, climb, and camp.

  Job Responsibilities

  Job Responsibilities:

  ? Greet and provide customer service to guests while anticipating their needs

  ? Responsible for performing service recovery to patients/customers who have received unsatisfactory service.

  ? Book reservations and coordinate registration

  ? Operate a register and/or software system to complete cash and credit card transactions

  ? Answers phone calls and emails and deliver messages as needed.

  ? Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.

  ? Reconciles disputed guest charges.

  ? Participates in Quality Assurance Programs and reviews to address areas in need of improvement.

  Employee is responsible for knowing the environmental aspects and associated impacts of their job position. Job specific Environmental Aspects and Impacts will be communicated by Dept. Managers during EMS training.

  Qualifications

  Previous guest services experience required.High school diploma or equivalent required.Demonstrates excellent customer service skillsDemonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and writtenDemonstrate organization skills, accuracy, and attention to detailExperience with Property Management Systems (Springer Miller System) Preferred
