Overview
Element has a current opening for a Research Technician to join our growing team in Boulder, CO. The main responsibility of the Research Technician is to assist the Clinical Study Coordinator in facilitating the Study in each Laboratory in order to meet customer turn time and requests; to help ensure the Studies are performed to protocol(s) requirements; to ensure that the Studies meet requirements of the Quality System.
The posted budget for this role is $25.00-$40.00 per hour, and will depend on level of experience.
Responsibilities
Adheres to study protocol
Conduct required assessments throughout the clinical trial assessment period
Assures clinical supply accountability for assigned studies
Accompanies sponsors representatives during site visits and follows up, as needed
Accumulates all data and supplies for study closure
Setup and Monitor data collection equipment including computers to input information and results from the study, analyze data, and collect electronic data
Utilize math skills while collecting data, routinely work with units of measure to perform calculations, both of which accuracy to prevent compromising the study
Documents findings and any deviations that are captured during the study
Skills / Qualifications
BS Degree preferred but not required
Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Availability, flexibility, and maturity to represent the company at a broad range of events/projects in the community, with customers and within the company
Well developed oral and written communication skills to meet a variety of communication needs, Good interpersonal skills that foster open upward and downward communication built on mutual respect
Technical background is a plus
Ability to interface with participants
Attention to detail is an absolute must
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Possession of good communication skills (verbal, written)
Possession of independent, problem-solving abilities
Knowledge and compliance with laboratory procedures, quality and safety requirements
Strong Organizational and Scheduling Skills
Must be able to clearly communicate verbally with Study Team and Participants
Must have good interpersonal skills, demonstrated through interactions with participants, Clinimark staff, Sponsor representatives, etc.
Must be detail-oriented and organized
