What you'll be doing...

As a Sr. Manager on the consumer Home Joint Mobile + Home Value Proposition Strategy team, you will be responsible for driving growth through new value propositions. You will have ownership of developing research and actionable insights that evolve the products and services we offer to home and joint customers and will work collaboratively across the extended organizations covering Consumer Marketing Insights (CMI), Integrated Marketing, Go-to-Market, Go-to-Channel, Learning Development, CMO, CXO, product marketing, content partnerships, and others - to make concepts a reality.

You will have accountability for leveraging research and insights to brief in partner teams ensuring consumer messaging and frontline training are informed by data-driven strategies that are differentiated and compelling to drive household acquisition, total customer profitability, and lifetime value. In order to do so successfully, you'll be the center of excellence with deep insights on customer needs, market trends, industry dynamics, and business objectives. The value propositions you help develop will serve our existing consumer Home Joint Mobile + Home businesses and products, as well as exciting emerging service areas in streaming video and entertainment, gaming, Wi-Fi home coverage, and more.

Position Responsibilities

Design, execute, and leverage consumer market research and competitive analysis, as well as industry benchmarking inside and outside of the Verizon footprint.

Analyze and extract actionable insights from research studies to inform business strategy and financial assumptions.

Lead the development of consumer messaging rooted in research to launch new value props or evolve current solutions through cross-functional partnerships with Integrated Marketing, Go-to-Market, CMO, CXO and others.

Be the point of contact for the Go-to-Market process including all internal channel communications and training requirements.

Craft and deliver executive-level presentations to visualize and socialize information with clarity.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to drive innovation.

You'll need to have:

Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Experience defining and analyzing qualitative and quantitative consumer research.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

Experience developing strategic creative marketing briefs, ideally in a marketing agency or similar environment.

Familiarity with frontline training and sales channel communications.

Superior verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to participate in a positive, growth-oriented team culture, where individual contributors thrive and continuously improve their skills.

A high level of curiosity and an investigative mindset with an attention to detail, a tenacity of thought and the flexibility to adapt to new challenges.

For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances.If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $130,000.00 and $241,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
