In the role ofResearch Assoicate II you will beworking in Biochemistry. Purpose Underminimal supervision, uses fundamental and advanced concepts, practices,and procedures of particular field of specialization to perform complexscientific research. Primary Functions * Perform and develop routineand complex experimental designs for implementation in the lab. *Develop new methodologies for lab procedures, including a DNA-encodedprotein-protein interaction profiling platform for identifying bindingsites in intrinsically disordered proteins. * Oversee orderinglaboratory supplies and materials. * Participate in meetings withprinciple investigator and research staff and evaluate/interpret thevalidity of data, develop methodologies, evaluate lab procedures. *Teach and train new members of the lab in relevant techniques andanalytical procedures. * Organize and delegate work assignments. *Perform library searches prepare materials for publications and grants.Knowledge - Skills - Abilities Knowledge of biology, chemistry,mathematics, documentation, and records management. Data utilization,complex problem solving, critical thinking, resource management, andwriting skills. Experience analyzing NGS data, coding skills, andtraining in computer science.
