Wicked Local, part of the USA Today Network, is in search of a talented and curious reporter. Candidates must have a proven ability to report compelling stories that resonate with readers. This reporter's primary beat will be in Plymouth, Massachusetts, which publishes as part of Wicked Local online and in print as Old Colony Memorial.
This reporter has to be able to identify news that our readers can use to take action on in their daily lives as well as spot opportunities to write about trending news. This passionate, focused and nimble storyteller will need to be committed to regular reporting on growth and development and public safety issues. This reporter should be able to quickly turn enterprise and breaking news stories for publication that day or next morning. Stories must be insightful, impactful and bring analysis to our readers. The reporter will be able to produce compelling multimedia assets and social engagement and have strong SEO skills.
