Job Description
Day to Day:
* One of our clients in the Salt Lake City, Utah area is looking for an Sr. Angular Developer (Angular9) with a background in Java (Java11) coding to join their Marketing Software Development team. There will be a fair bit of coding within an older application for the first three months then the focus will shift to new development. The role will also involve triaging and debugging applications. They will be following an Agile process, working through a Jira backlog and communicating with Product Owners to vet out the work and assess what needs to take priority. This is a very collaborative role and will be include some paired programming. This team works in an Agile and AWS environment. Jira/Confluence
Skills and Requirements
Must Haves:
* 5+ years' experience with Java and or Angular 9+ (flexible with this based on sharpness)
* They can be stronger on either end but must have expertise in Java or Angular (If an expert in Java, client will accept react experience)
* Must have experience with Java (Preferably Java 11+/JavaEE, or Java 8)
* Experience with Spring and Spring Boot
* Writing and understanding REST APIs REST API (OpenAPI/Swagger, API versioning, API gateways/forwarders and OAUTH2)
* Understanding SOAP, REST, and CRUD methodologies
* Experience with Testing Driven Design and E2E testing
* Postman, Selenium, Unit Testing
* E2E Testing (Protractor, cypress)
* Understanding of SQL (Oracle, MySQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB)
* Experience with Git/GitHub
* Developing in a cloud environment, preferably AWS Plusses:
* Experience with State Management Systems (NgRx, etc)
* Node / Node JS
* Skilled at writing documentation and Wiki articles in Confluence
* Third party software and integrations
* FERPA and PII data handling
* CI/CD, deployment with code pipelines null
