Job Description
Our client is looking for 2 Banner Solutions Analysts to join their team! Their primary systems are Banner and Ellucian products and consultants will work on their Academics registrar system. This position is open because they have a large backlog of tickets. They recently underwent an IT re-org and now have Service Delivery organization. The role of the Banner Business Analyst is to identify impact analysis and write test scripts/unit test up front prior to sending to the development team. The dev team is doing script writing/dealing with issues in backlog. Some projects will consist of Banner system upgrades where Ellucian will provide the release guides and this Analyst will go through those release guides and identify analysis, write scripts, and test. This role will be doing a lot of troubleshooting. He/she must be experienced with following Agile methodologies as required documentation is imperative. Consultants will be expected to decipher modifications in Banner.
Skills and Requirements
Must Haves:
* 5+ years' experience as a Banner Business Analyst
* Ellucian Banner experience
* Higher-education background experience
* Experience working within Admissions, Registrar, Degree Works, Workflow, Student Module.
* Troubleshooting and triaging skills
* DegreeWorks -- understand the programs of schools and how set up within banner. DegreeWorks is their "Degree navigator" so they know what courses to take next based on program involved in
* ServiceNow ticketing system experience (automation exp is preferred)
* Understanding of RAD, SDLC, Client Server/Distributed Application Design and Development
* Experience developing advanced PL/SQL objects with robust error handling.
* Experience developing and supporting system data feeds and integration between Banner and other systems. null
