Your role
Are you able to provide strong organizational support and project coordination to assist the Head of US Securities Regulatory Affairs with overall planning, management, process improvement, and strategy development? We are looking for someone to:
• Prepare briefing materials for UBS senior management in advance of regulatory meetings.
• Drive the development of executive-level decks, including owning the business inputs and drafting materials for senior management to present in a digestible, actionable format.
• Coordinate flow and ad-hoc regulatory requests including review and quality assurance of all regulatory submissions, tracking regulatory examination findings, and preparing related reporting for senior management and governance forums.
• Coordinate and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with a broad set of internal and external stakeholders with varying degrees of seniority with the appropriate level of detail and influence to gain agreement on key decisions and initiatives
• Oversee and maintain internal inventory of regulatory deliverables by utilizing internal data warehouses such as SORT and coordinate with relevant owners on remediation timelines and data capture.
• Monitor and enhance analytics and deliverables to determine key themes, trends, and metrics
• Coordinate with other Regulatory Affairs teams, including submitting relevant US updates for global meetings and providing US input to globally coordinated efforts.
• Ensure timely delivery and tracking of regulatory reports by utilizing various tools.
• Provide exam management support including, but not limited to, creating SharePoint sites, and working with relevant stakeholders to upload information into and to maintain databases.
• Take notes during meetings with regulators for tracking, filing and follow-up.

The US Securities Regulatory Affairs team handles regulatory examinations, inquiries, investigations and enforcement actions conducted by securities regulators such as the SEC, FINRA and others, as well as promotes and manages effective relationships with key US regulators. The team also coordinates UBS's engagement between top Firm executives and senior regulatory officials.

Your expertise
• Ideally 1-2 years of experience in financial services; knowledge of or experience dealing with any US regulatory bodies is a strong plus
• Strong project management, analytical and presentation skills; high proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint, Outlook and Word.
• You are capable of working under pressure while juggling multiple tasks in a time sensitive environment
• You will be extremely organized, focused and detail-orientated and as such will always deliver accurate work within the agreed time frame.
• You must have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with members of the management team and other colleagues across our Bank.
