As the Regional Security Manager - Crisis Management, you are responsible for protecting BMW Group's people, property, and information through physical security, incident, and crisis management throughout the Americas Region. You steer the implementation of core strategies and policies to meet the business continuity needs of the company and serve as a key resource to resilience topics supporting the business. You act as a liaison with key stakeholders, partners, and public safety agencies, in proactively identifying risk and supporting physical security measures, investigations and incident responses at BMW facilities throughout the Americas Region (U.S., Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina).
You ensure the implementation and effectiveness of incident and crisis management in your region according to BMW Group requirements. You support the needs and requirements of the Incident and Crisis Management - Center of Competence (CoC) by creating awareness and providing advisory services and trainings on the corporate security incident management process (including the use of the internal software platform, Corsica). You reinforce the implementation, effectiveness, and training of crisis management personnel in the region according to group standards. You collect and consolidate relevant information and KPI's on crisis scenarios, activation of crisis management teams, and status of crisis management in the region. You submit reports on this information in accordance with group standards and incident/crisis management CoC requirements.

The pay range for this role is: $86,084.00 - 101,275.00.
The selected candidate's education, skills, experience, and location will be used to determine the final salary offer. All pay ranges are based on a full-time work schedule. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.

Bachelor's degree and 5 - 7 years of related incident and crisis management professional experience gained from a qualified organization, including, but not limited to, a corporate, military, government, law enforcement and/or public safety entity. Experience will include liaison experience with external partners (service providers, public safety agencies and peers).

Master's degree and 3 - 5 years of related incident and crisis management professional experience gained from a qualified organization, including, but not limited to, a corporate, military, government, law enforcement and/or public safety entity. Experience will include liaison experience with external partners (service providers, public safety agencies and peers).
Excellent interpersonal, communication, listening and presentation skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to effectively work both independently and collaboratively as a member of a team.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience in working with open-source data, databases, and analysis tools.
Preferences:
Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese language(s).
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Professional Certifications (such as ASIS CPI, PSP or CPP).
Previous experience analyzing organizational resilience and continuity trends.
