Eaton's ES AMER NAS division is currently seeking a Regional Sales Specialist, AMI/DR. This is a remote-based position in the western region for the following locations where candidates must reside within 50 miles: Tukwila, WA; Wilsonville, OR; City of Industry, CA; Littleton, CO; Salt Lake City, UT; Albuquerque, NM or Chanhassen, MN. Relocation assistance will be offered for successful applicants that live outside these locations.

Position Overview:
This member of the EAS sales team this position will focus on the sales of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and Demand Response (DR) solutions within a specified region of North America. Along with AMI and DR solutions, this position will sell or refer others to support selling additional EAS offerings such as distribution automation and substation automation. This position is responsible for calling on public power electric cooperatives, public utility districts and municipal utilities to develop compelling value propositions for potential customers in the firm's target markets. The role may also call on investor-owned utilities for Demand Response solutions.

Establish working relationships and frameworks with strategic customers that identify articulated and unarticulated needs and collaboratively develop solutionEstablish working relationships with key influencers and decision makers within utility industry, cooperatives, municipalities and public power organizationsDetermine market segmentation, identify key target accounts and execute a strategic sales plan for those accountsLeverage key relationships as needed to identify emerging needs and solutionsReview RFPs and providing content and direction as necessary through the entire procurement processEffectively develop, maintain and manage a sales funnel pipeline in the Eaton CRM Develop formal presentations for both internal and external useProvide insight to product marketing and engineering regarding current and future product directionWork with regional project management, service sales and proposals teams

Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institutionMinimum five to seven (5-7) years of industry experience selling solutions to utilitiesMust be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in EngineeringThree plus (3+) years of experience selling Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and/or Demand Response (DR) solutions

The compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and sales incentive. This position has a total compensation range of $130,125 - $190,850.
