We are looking for a Regional Sales Professional to join our Grid Software team. You will sell our Grid Control software services and products related to SCADA, Energy Management Systems (EMS), Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS), Network Model Management (NMM), and Energy Market Management (EMM). Your focus will be both new clients and growing business with existing customers who are electrical utilities, Independent System Operators, Regional Transmission Organizations, and other public sector partners.
This is a remote position based in the U.S.
You’ll make an impact as you:
Prepare and execute your account plans, hitting targets for booked orders and gross margin while providing solutions that are specific to your customers’ unique objectives.
Coordinate virtual teams across multiple Grid Control product lines to respond to customer requests for sophisticated system solutions.
Collaborate and communicate with front-end sales and the technical sales team to open sales channels, increase sales and break into underpenetrated accounts.
Work with proposal managers and the extended proposal team to develop customer-specific proposals and lead the risk review process.
Develop and implement the close plan for bookings in the territory and present the sales pipeline and forecast to the executive management on a weekly basis.
Contribute to marketing activities, including the development of marketing material for customer presentations and participation in key trade show activities in your area.
Drive strategy and market penetration efforts for new and innovative solutions based on the regional customer’s specific needs.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
5+ years of sales or business development experience with software solutions for Electrical Energy Utilities, ISOs, and/or RTOs.
Deep knowledge in operation and market of electrical grids.
Expertise in software and professional service sales, mainly with EMS, ADMS, NMM, or EMM.
Consistent track record of account management, including accurate sales forecast, sales process management, and successful attainment of quota across multiple product/service lines.
Demonstrated negotiating skills, conflict management skills and a high sense of accountability.
Ability to strategize and demonstrate creative problem solving to overcome customer challenges.
Persuasive presentation and effective communication skills in English - both verbal and written.
Willingness and ability to travel 30% of the time.
Ability to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience with international and cross-border projects preferred.

The salary range for this position is $88.300 - $166,600. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
