Job Description and RequirementsOur Software Security and Quality business is all about building secure software-faster. That starts with our application testing and Software Composition Analysis tools so our customers can build security and quality into the DNA of their code at any stage of the software development lifecycle and across the supply chain. All while minimizing risks and maximizing speed of application development.
We are seeking a proven channel manager to the support the rapid growth of our North America channel sales business and our US & Canada East Region. The ideal candidate will have experience tactically supporting field sales teams with the goal of driving partner-led pipeline and bookings.
Role Summary: The Synopsys Software Integrity Group (SIG) is growing and we want you to come grow with us! A major contributor to that growth for SIG is our partner program. Partnerships serve many purposes for our business and facilitating the development of field relationships with partners is a top priority for the company. The Partner Program is key to the ongoing growth of SIG and this role is a key aspect of that for our US & Canada East Region.
The Regional Channel Manager will be planning and executing efforts centered around key growth partners, including VARs, Resellers, and MSPs. This role will report directly to the Global VP of Channels & Alliances and will work closely with our field sales teams as they engage our partners in the field. This function is responsible for developing and qualifying new partner sales opportunities. Candidates will possess a customer focus, and a record of accomplishment of delivering results in a high performance, fast-paced environment via partners. Role Requirements:Act as the first point of contact for our partners and sales reps in the target region to generate, develop, qualify, and close new business opportunities with partners.Conduct high level conversations about Synopsys technology and products with key contacts within target partner accounts.Establish connections between our sales team and the partner sellersEffectively track activity of opportunities using SFDC and report on weekly/monthly/quarterly results to Partner Program team.Maintain regular contact with the regional sales teams to discuss progress and pipeline at each partner account. Identify gaps or challenges, escalate to Partner Program leadership.This is a fast-growing team. Be open to taking on new responsibilities as they arise, some tactical, some programmatic, all in support of growing our North America partner programKey Qualifications:You have 5-7 years experience in a channel role working with the key channel partners in the software/technology sector.You have a solid background in direct and indirect technology sales, preferably in Application or Cyber Security.You have a proven background working with cross-functional teams to accomplish your goals.You have contacts and connections at key resellers, VARs and distributors in Canada and the U.S. including the North East and Great Lakes area as primary territories.You have experience structuring partner dealsThe base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $111,000-$194,000. In addition, this role may be eligibl for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses.
