  Job Description

  The opportunity

  The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for over-all sales performance, management and operations of assigned region and converts strategies into tactical solutions at the regional level.

  Responsibilities

  Provide overall leadership and management of the region being managed

  Collaborate and deals directly with senior leadership of both MCBL and Chinabank to establish and execute sales plans/targets

  Develop and execute short and long-term strategies at the region level to meet sales objectives

  Ensure annual targets, manning and active agent count are met

  Perform sales forecast on an annual, quarterly, and monthly basis

  Deliver sales production targets in terms of parameters set by the company for his region of assignment

  Ensure that Area Sales Managers in the region deliver minimum validation requirement set by the company.

  Monitor the FSA recruitment activities of the Area Managers and provide necessary support to attain 100% FSA compliment within the region.

  Support the Area Sales Managers in developing a professional relationship with China Bank branch officers and staff and the Area Head of the designated area.

  Support the Areas Sales Managers in the development of all the FSAs assigned in the region.

  Manages all area management activities of Area Sales Managers within the designated region through monitoring and activity management system.

  Develop the management and leadership skills of each of the Area Sales Managers in the region through coaching and training

  Generate and submit all reports requested by management in a timely and accurate manner

  Review expenses and recommend improvements on any sales process

  Ensure regional and local compliance on Training and mandatory programs

  Maintain professional and ethical salesforce at the region level, in line with regulatory, industry and company standards

  Conducts annual, quarterly, monthly touch points/meetings, planning sessions with salesforce and bank partners

  Develop a strong team and establish succession planning within the region

  Resolve conflicts and banca-related issues

  What we are looking for

  Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Management

  At least 4-5 years relevant experience in sales management role from insurance or financial industry. Has held key positions relevant to the job

  Visionary, able to develop and execute sales/business plan

  Possesses strong leadership and people management skills

  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  Strong sense of integrity and business ethics

  Proficient in using Microsoft Office Tools.

  Work experience in bancassurance sales is highly preferred for this position
