Overview

We are lookingfor an authentic and experienced Regional Sales Director (front lineleader) for the Northwest Region. They will be a key member of theCommercial organization and will serve on the US Sales Leadership Team. Thisrole will collaborate closely with internal partners to hire, train, anddevelop the most respected and high performing Sales Team in the industry.He/she will be responsible for shaping the sales strategy for the NorthwestRegion, as a derivative of the national strategy, and leading salesexecution to ensure US success and overall market growth . This position is a field-based role and can be located in or around a majormetropolitan area in the Northwest Region of the United States. The Statesincluded in the Northwest Region are: WA, OR, ID, WY, northern CO,and western MT. Some of the major metropolitan areas include: Seattle,Portland, Denver, and Boise.
Responsibilities
Additional representative responsibilities will include, but not necessarilybe limited to, the following:
Develop, lead, and execute a sales plan with specific goals and targetsto maximize sales growth in the current rare disease market. Experience inrecruiting and hiring Therapeutic Specialist (sales) in preparation forfuture launches.Retain and develop a high performing Rare Disease/Specialty Sales Teamwith an emphasis on launch excellence.Create a high-performance team driven by common values of trust,respect, and commitment to winning the right way (culture of compliance)Fosters an entrepreneurial culture with a focus on ownership andaccountability to maximize individual and Company goals, and establishesopen and honest communication with team, peers, and senior leadership.Contributes to the development and implementation of key sales enablers(i.e., sa es training, customer targeting and alignment, marketdevelopment), in collaboration with internal and external partners.Lead Sales team through one product focus to a portfolio selling approach.Maintains exceptional knowledge of disease state, product, customer,orphan/rare drug market, specialty drug market, competitive products,and the broader healthcare marketplace.Collaborates with cross functional Insmed field leaders (Market Access,Patient Services), Medical, Legal, and Compliance) to achieve sharedbusiness objectives in a compliant mannerPerforms all Company business in accordance with all regulations and Companypolicy and procedures.Demonstrates high ethical and performance standards with all businesscontacts to maintain Insmed' s exceptional reputation within the medical andpharmaceutical community.Operation Excellence - Ability to monitor team performance and implementbehavioral strategies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.Foster a culture of coaching by empowering teams to learn, grow, andperform to their fullest potential through high engagement,accountability, and collaboration.Qualifications
