Unit Overview :
The Medical Operations & Readiness Unit (MORU), part of the Employee Health and Performance Section (EHPS), Human Resources Division (HRD), ensures the mission readiness of our workforce through the following programs: Drug Deterrence Program, Clinical Services, Fitness for Duty, and Travel Medicine.
Major Duties Implementation, operation, evaluation, and oversight of FBIHQ directed health programs and formulation of regional directives. Provides leadership and direction in all phases of Fitness-for-duty (FFD) and other health matters affecting all on-board personnel and applicants. Serves as an authority and advisor for regional health and FFD matters providing expert guidance to field office management regarding required physical and mental standards and making recommendations. Implements and directs region-wide physical assessment programs, policies and procedures. Proposes and develops policies and procedures to identify problem areas, causes of such problems, initiates corrective action, and evaluates results. Collaborates with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and Contracting Officer (CO) and performs as a Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) on the Fitness for Duty contract that provides medical exams and travel reviews for the FBI.Required Documents

Education Requirement
This position has a specific education requirement, all applicants must verify completion of this basic educational requirement by submitting a copy of their college transcripts by the closing date of the vacancy.
Basic Education: Applicants MUST have a degree or diploma from a professional nursing program approved by the legally designated State accrediting agency at the time the program was completed by the applicant. Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the above requirements provided you can show foreign education is comparable to that received in an accredited educational institution in the United States.

Applicants must have passed the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) and possess an active, current, unrestricted license as a registered nurse in a State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.

Ability to independently plan, organize, and coordinate work in situations with diverse demands. Meet short-range tasks in a timely manner, and make demanding adjustments when necessary.
