Eaton's EPG LAC PD Power Distribution division is currently seeking a Regional Controller.
What you'll do:
Job Summary:
The Controller serves as the finance business partner to PD&PS and CPDI Sales and Operations Leadership Team. This role provides financial leadership in planning and executing business goals and objectives. Reporting directly to the Business Unit Manager (PD&PS), with a dotted line to the Sales & Services Director (CPDI) and functional reporting to the Divisional Controller. The Controller manages various financial functions including general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit & collection, and tax compliance while ensuring adherence to internal control procedures and Mexican laws. This role also represents the company in fiscal and customs matters.
Job Responsibilities:
Support strategic plans of 3 independent businesses: Power Distribution USD$60.7M (manufacturing and commercial), Power Systems USD$19.5M (commercial and engineering), Critical Power & Digital Infrastructure USD$29,7M (commercial).
Manage general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit & collection, and tax compliance.
Forecast and manage treasury and cash flow.
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, including credit policies.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards (PCGA and USGAAP).
Issue monthly reports in compliance with Corporate and Division requirements.
Implement cost control processes and annual budgets.
Report monthly business results, orders, backlog, headcount, and more.
Manage financial, tax, and legal records.
Prepare and report annual Strategic Planning, Profit Plan, and Rolling Forecasts.
Supervise the Credit and Collections Department.
Oversee inventory management and account reconciliations.
Handle payroll and benefits.
Support tax-related activities, including Income Tax Return and Transfer Price Studies.
Comply with all tax reports required by the Corporation, including Deferred Taxes FASB109.
Participate in continuous improvement programs and committees.
Adhere to Global Directives and Policies, including ethics, compliance, risk management, and more.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
Minimum of 7 years of finance experience in a large company.
Minimum of 5 years of finance experience in a combined manufacturing/commercial environment.
Advanced knowledge in Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
Solid understanding of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Knowledge of external regulatory bodies (FASB, SEC, IRS, Sarbanes-Oxley).
Familiarity with Mexican Fiscal law and cost accounting.
Advanced verbal and written communication skills in English-Spanish.
