What you'll do:
As a regional Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager you will provide leadership to GEIS EMEA region, deploying the GEIS CI strategy & building the CI competency by driving applicable Eaton Business System tools including Strategy Deployment (EBS Pull), Operations Assessment (OpA), Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF), and Eaton Lean Six Sigma (ELSS) to invigorate the continuous improvement culture throughout our businesses. This critical role will partner with sites & functions to identify, and implement solutions to unique situations or problems.
Troubleshoot critical business issues - Analyse and improve manufacturing, functional and business processes using Lean and Six Sigma methods & tools, real-time problem-solving techniques and other statistical and quality improvement toolsLead and/or facilitate Eaton Lean Six Sigma (ELSS) projects, Eaton Business System (EBS) strategy deployment, Operations Assessment (OpA), supporting through tactical activities and facilitation of kaizen events at identified sitesDevelop and deploy the ELSS maturity roadmap, including the deployment of procedures, policies and own sharing of best practices across the regionDrive Division roadmap for achieving performance excellence by manufacturing sites achieving World Class and Model Plant statusSupport development of site/business ELSS knowledge, coach & grow regional talent on Continuous Improvement (CI) competenciesSupport key business segment's cost effectiveness projects & actions, product cost reduction initiatives, ensure achievement of business benefits determined in each projectLead, facilitate, coach, support Needle Mover projects, Rapid Improvement Events (RIE), Business Process Improvement (BPI) projects, including non-Cost-out CI projects and special or turn-around CI projectsInitiate operating principles that focus on process standardization, visual factory, Daily Accountability and Tier meetingsMentor & support candidates of Lean/Six Sigma Certification programs throughout the certification process.Prepare and conduct ELSS related training for sites/functions and develop on-site ELSS knowledge Support and calibrate Site self assessments, prepare site for validated assessments, and develop/review ELSS self assessment action plan and opportunities for advancement (OFA)"
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution5 - 10 years of experience leading manufacturing operations and or continuous improvement
Skills:
Green Belt certificationDemonstrated ability to use Lean and Six Sigma tools and deliver projects in an operational environmentStrong communication and influencing skills enabling visible and collaborative leadershipAbility to lead effectively and drive alignment across a complex global matrixed environmentDemonstrated experience in building organizational capabilities through talent acquisition, training and development, and a motivational leadership style that delivers increasing levels of performance"
