The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

We are searching for a Occupational Health Managing Consultant to join the UPS Team. This position may occassionally work from home, due to the dedicated aspect of the account, but does require travel to various customer locations. Our Occupational Health Managing Consultant leads a team of Occupational Health Consultant Professionals to provide practical industry expertise, leadership and consultative guidance as well as provides direct consultant to UPS focus operations. The overall goal of the position is to strengthen the customer's Wellness Program and educate their employees on how to prevent workplace injuries. The position acts as a resource to other internal Risk Control Consultants working in collaboration with the customer to reduce losses from Back, Ankle, Knee and Shoulder injuries and Heat-Related Injuries/Illnesses at focus locations. The right candidate for this role will bring strong relationship-building skills, acute customer focus, and a passion for quality execution as well as the requisite technical skills and experience. The position is accountable for workforce management, outcome metrics, process
improvement and creating an environment that fosters innovation. This is an exciting role leading a team that delivers a strong ROI to UPS Corporate buyers. This position may travel up to 50% of the time and domiciled location may be flexible in the Eastern or Central US. COHN or COHN-S professional designation is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities: Develops and ensures execution of corporate Occupational Health service plan and strategy. This includes developing performance standards, objectives and overall strategy. Strong project management skills including the ability to manage multiple long term projects. This includes identifying, facilitating and allocating resources to all OH projects aimed at delivering high quality products to UPS Global H&S. Builds effective working relationships with select Corporate, Region & District Stakeholders (Director of Occupational Health, Region OH Managers, Global H&S Directors, etc.) that impact execution of our OH risk reduction plan. Responsible for reporting on OH impact at the District, Region and Corporate levels. Analyzes and reviews loss data to identify injury trends for developing change strategies to reduce losses from Back, Ankle, Knee, and Shoulder injuries. This includes the design and development of month KPI scorecards. Account Service: Work with UPS management and employees to provide comprehensive and highly sophisticated Occupational Health consultative services. Conduct on-site evaluations, evaluate data, and create/implement service plans to control customer's source of risk related to ankle, back, knee and shoulder losses and costs. Provide training, materials and coaching regarding improving overall wellbeing of UPS employees and demonstrates the value of doing business with Liberty Mutual. Leadership: Having the ability to collaborate, innovate, influence and inspire those around them to meet a common goal. Drives quality of team engagement, including implementation of Service Strategies. Fosters internal Talent Mobility to build deeper talent pools that result in greater diversification of staff. Execution: Ensures alignment between staff technical/consultative skills and service strategy needs as well as internal quality standards. Identifies skill gaps and builds development strategies for improvement. Management: Recruits and maintains a high performing results-oriented staff. Decisively handles performance issues, complies with legal and corporate requirements and manages budgetary and HR considerations. Qualifications Demonstrated ability to organize, lead and get work done through others; in depth knowledge of loss prevention products and operations Proven capability to deal with all levels of an organization -- including senior management -- and the capacity to manage the delivery of services to a larger, more complex book of business Effective communication, interpersonal, and listening skills in order to develop and maintain relationships with customers Advanced skills in conducting advance level research, evaluation and analysis Maintains expert understanding of risk assessment, risk analysis, solutions management and progress measurement techniques Bachelor's degree or equivalent with coursework in mathematics and engineering, plus 10+ years of directly related consulting experience Masters degree or designation(s) in related field preferred Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and other designations such as CSP or CPCU may be required Travel may be required About Us
