The Recruiter position (known as Recruiter II internally) is part of a global team that sources, recruits and refers best-qualified candidates for high volume vacant positions at PPD (a part of Thermo Fisher Scientific). You will develop an extensive network of candidate sources, as well as organize and facilitate the entire recruiting function demonstrating knowledge of personnel policy and relevant laws regarding employment practices.
A day in the Life:
Sources, recruits, screens resumes, and interviews candidates for vacant positions.Manages job boards, career postings and internet employment resources, and conducts cold calling, networking and employee referrals.Attends job fairs. Supports various departments on advertising for new and innovative ways to source candidates.Maintains records of activity via the recruitment system (Workday) and prepares analytical reports as assigned. Tracks applicants.Collaborates in the wider HR department to ensure consistency of practice and advice, efficient sharing of information, ideas and resources.Provides high quality, value-added advice and counsel to business partners on recruiting issues. Develops strong rapport and relationship with internal clients.
Keys to Success:
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification.
Experience
Previous recruitment experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2+ years).Clinical research recruitment experience highly preferred.In some cases an equivalency, consisting of appropriate education, training, and/or directly related experience will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.

The annual salary range estimated for this position is $65,000 - $75,000. This position will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. Actual compensation will be confirmed in writing at the time of offer.
