  DESCRIPTION OF WORK

  As a recruiter for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, you will source candidates for hard-to-fill and critical vacancies, identify and develop future talent pipelines, build relationships with high schools, colleges, universities, and community partners, develop recruitment plans, and communicate with hiring managers and other Human Resource professionals. You will be responsible for recruiting for open jobs in Cambria, Blair, Centre, Mifflin, and Juniata counties.

  Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  Full-time, home headquartered employment

  Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

  There may be an option for an alternate work schedule (AWS) upon the successful completion of the probationary period.

  Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

  REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

  QUALIFICATIONS

  Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  One year as a Human Resource Analyst 1 including six months in the area of the parenthetical; or

  One year of experience in the performance of professional human resource duties, including six months of experience in the area of the parenthetical; and a bachelor's degree; or

  An equivalent combination of experience and training.

  Condition of Employment :

  You m ust maintain residency in one of the following counties: Cambria, Blair, Centre, Mifflin, and Juniata.

  Hiring preference for this vacancy will be given to candidates who live within District 9 which includes Cambria, Blair, Centre, Mifflin, and Juniata counties . If no eligible candidates who live within these counties apply for this position, candidates who reside in other counties may be considered.

  You must pass a background investigation.

  This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
