The Receptionist / Telephone Operator is responsible for promptly and accurately answering a high volume of incoming calls for the Corporate Campus Switchboard in a courteous and professional manner.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Route incoming calls, in a fast paced, high call volume environment to the business units/individual with accuracy and efficiency. Greet and assist visitors arriving in reception area. Coordinates with team members to ensure proper coverage of the reception area. Handle all calls and visitors in a professional and courteous manner. Issue temporary access cards to existing employees as needed, record on the temporary card log and ensure all temporary cards issued are returned. Assist with the sorting and distribution of high-volume mail and route to the different departments. Assist with research of statements, checks and deposits. Alert management of any issues with phone lines or call routing to ensure timely resolution. Alert management of any call trends that may indicate issues impacting customer experience. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
Demonstrate a professional manner and tone. Knowledge of departments function within the bank to accurately direct calls. Excellent customer service skills.
Required Experience:
High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 1 year of telephone operator experience. Minimum 2 years of telephone operator experience preferred.
