Description

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Part-Time Receptionist in the Rental/Leasing Services industry based in Hopewell, Virginia. As a Receptionist, you will be pivotal in handling administrative tasks, maintaining records, and serving as the initial point of contact for the community. Your responsibilities will primarily revolve around property management, document preparation, and tenant communication.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary contact point for the community, addressing inquiries and concerns.

• Handle the inspection process, ensuring tenants are duly informed and aware of scheduled inspections.

• Update and maintain both electronic and paper program records meticulously.

• Prepare periodic reports and relevant documentation in a timely and accurate manner.

• Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word to manage and streamline administrative tasks.

• Exercise strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with tenants and team members.

• Leverage emotional intelligence to understand and address tenant needs and concerns.

• Gain experience in HUD or property management, which can be beneficial for job execution.

Requirements • A high school diploma or equivalent qualification is required.

• Previous experience in a receptionist role within the Rental/Leasing Services industry is preferred.

• Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel is necessary.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial.

• Exceptional customer service skills are required.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed.

• The ability to multitask and manage time effectively is essential.

• The ability to handle sensitive information confidentially is required.

• Familiarity with office equipment such as fax machines and printers is important.

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team is needed.

• Punctuality and reliability are required.
