Large shipping company located in Plainfied, IL is hiring for a 2nd shift Recieving Associate/Clerk within their shipping department.
Job Description
Sit-Down Forklift
Typical day will be 50% forklift and 25% order picking and manual work, 25% verifying items recieved with Excel,
Candidates will do full pallet picking/gaylords with the forklift
Candidates will do some individual case pick when needed
Candidates will be responsible for labeling pallets with correct purchase order ticket
Will be responsible for shrink wrapping pallets manually
Will be responsible for collecting appropriate paperwork from freight carriers
Will be using Excel and Word to update the Clerk on what is recieved
Needs computer skills, basic email, excel and word
Steel toes are required
May lift up to 50 lbs
Shift/Pay:
2nd shift- 2pm-10:30pm OT is available on Saturdays (2 openings)
20-$21/hr based on experience
Will train on 1st shift for 1-2 weeks depending on candidates ability to catch on
