Summary About the Position: Assists Realty Specialists with day-to-day real estate activities for the management, disposal, and/or acquisition of real property. *Management may select from either the GS-05, GS-06 or GS-07 grade level. Responsibilities Ensure all Real Estate actions are processed, and the files are documented in accordance with all appropriate laws and regulations. Assist with and/or conduct data research using a variety of different tools. Prepare routine documents and correspondence for real estate instruments. Coordinate with general public, customers, or with local, state or Federal government representatives as necessary, by telephone or in writing, to obtain information for management actions. GS-05 Minimum Qualifications: One year of specialized experience which includes utilizing various computer systems to access, input, track and maintain information; preparing various forms, correspondence, memorandums, and reports following guides and regulations. OR Education: Four years (minimum of 120 semester hours) of education above the high school level obtained at an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05). GS-07 Minimum Qualifications: One year of specialized experience which includes ensuring Real Estate actions are processed, and the files are documented in according all appropriate laws and regulations; manage ongoing leases, processing rent and expense payments, and resolving problems with the lessor.
