The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
Description
Oversees the planning and implementation of a varied portfolio of real estate projects ranging from standard to complex. Provides input into creation of project budget, manages project scope, schedule and budget and is accountable for project management deliverables through the project life cycle. Helps to identify and implement process improvements for real estate project management. Functions successfully with limited supervision or guidance from Real Estate Delivery management.
Responsibilities Oversees the planning and implementation of multiple real estate projects with a defined beginning and end. Partners with Real Estate Delivery staff to define project objectives, scope, schedule, and budget. Establishes project charter and plan, including success criteria. Reviews, evaluates, baselines and tracks project plans, schedules and budgets. Leads and directs geographically dispersed project team to meet project objectives. Evaluates and reports progress in terms of quality and performance metrics common to real estate projects. Validates business requirements fit into overall real estate portfolio strategy. Provides input to project management standard work and deliverables for real estate projects including ongoing continuous improvement to defined methodology. Keeps informed of advances in real estate and project management. Provides input into staff performance evaluations and objectives. Provides coaching, mentoring and guidance to project team members and/or others in project management roles. Performs related duties as assigned or requested. Qualifications Bachelor degree in project management or real estate-related discipline and 8-10 years related experience as a project team member with 2 or more years in a leadership position, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience Proven ability to manage projects from inception to successful implementation Requires strong analytical, communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills Able to foster working relationships with the team and client departments Thorough knowledge of project management life cycle, methodologies and support tools (e g; MS Project, etc ) Thorough knowledge of project management concepts, practices and techniques (Project Management certification preferred) Ability to promote a team environment Strong negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills Strong oral and written communication skills; presentation skills Thorough knowledge of business functions and extensive understanding of business operations, strategies and objectives About Us
