　　Within this function, the Global Portfolio Management division drives the portfolio, optimizes the real estate cost, builds the real estate strategy, and mitigates risks related to Real Estate. We are dedicated to leveraging data-driven insights to enhance overall portfolio performance.

　　The Global Portfolio Management division also addresses the sustainable topics in the management of the portfolio, with the Business Units and Hitachi Energy sustainable function.

　　As a Real Estate Business Analyst within our team, you will play a crucial role in providing valuable insights that will be used by the Real Estate function to make strategic decisions that drive efficiency in our real estate operations.

　　Position Overview

　　We are seeking a skilled Real Estate Business Analyst with a passion for data analysis tools and for leveraging data to optimize space utilization, lease management, property performance, to increase energy efficiency and to reach low carbon emissions. The ideal candidate would possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of real estate and related processes, and the ability to translate complex data into useful analysis and KPIs, that the function will use in recommendations to the Hitachi Energy senior management and Business Units. 　　Your responsibilities

　　Administer and maintain comprehensive databases, including our new real estate data management system, to store and organize real estate data, including property attributes, lease agreements, and space plansUpdate playbooks and training programs related to our data management systemDemonstrate proficiency in tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SharePoint, Enterprise Data PlatformCreate insightful reports and visualizations to communicate key performance indicators, occupancy rates, lease expiration dates, and other relevant metrics to stakeholdersAssist in the development of standardized real estate performance metrics and benchmarks to evaluate portfolio optimization and performanceUtilize statistical analysis and modeling techniques to forecast space demand, occupancy rates, and rental income, contributing to strategic decision-makingAssist in rent reviews and portfolio planningSupport the real estate team globally in the use of the management systemCreate SharePoint sites and assist in developing our dedicated intranet siteSupport the efficient collection, analysis, and reporting of data for our sustainability activitiesCollaborate with Real Estate teams and IT teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security, while also exploring opportunities for process automation and system enhancementsStay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in real estate data analysis and space management

　　Your background

　　Degree in Real Estate, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field3-5 years of experience in real estate (data analysis, space management, lease management)Ideally knowledge in ArchibusKnowledge in tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SharePoint, Enterprise Data Platform, AutoCAD or similar platforms for data analysisUnderstanding of real estate terminology, portfolio management processes, and lease agreementsDemonstrated ability to transform complex data into actionable insights and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersStrong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards addressing challengesEffective communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate in a team environmentExperience in a global environment preferredKnowledge of SAP, real estate industry regulations, market trends, or emerging technologies is a plus
