Job Overview
TE Connectivity’s R&D/Product Development Engineering Teams conceive original ideas for new products, introduce them into practice. They are responsible for product development, and qualification from market definition through production and release; assist in the qualification of suppliers for new products to ensure suppliers deliver quality parts, materials, and services for new or improved manufacturing processes; conduct feasibility studies, testing on new and modified designs; direct and support detailed design, testing, prototype fabrication and manufacturing ramp. The R&D/Product Development Engineering Teams provide all required product documentation including, but not limited to, Solid Model, 2D/3D production drawings, product specifications, and testing requirements. They create and modify detailed drawings and drafting or conceptual models from layouts, rough sketches or notes and contribute to design modifications to facilitate manufacturing operation or quality of product. Typical fields of expertise include: materials, mechanics and systems, electrical, optics, chemistry, software, automation systems, packaging, testing and measurement, and manufacturing of electrical, mechanical and electronic components, products, and their integration into systems.

Job Summary
This position is mainly focused on performing product design verification and validation test per the DVP&R with the objective of solving product quality, customer field application issue by conducting series of testing and working with cross-functional team within agreed test plan/specification and test lab policies and procedures.
Major Responsibilities:
Test plan review and procedure per industry standard or specific customer requirement to ensure accurate and clear test requirement for test implementation support manager to control and plan annual budget for new equipment purchasing and installation.
Test Execution, operate test machine and record the test data independently to finish assigned project within required timeline. Optimize test schedule and improve test equipment utilization to have test done with higher efficiency and less resource.
Test data collection and raw data review to ensure test data accuracy. Prepare final test report with complete test project information and test results to meet specified report timeline.
Maintain and improve test lab quality system from sample receiving till report out to follow ISO:17025 lab quality requirement. Strictly follow test lab procedures, test instruction, rules and relevant regulations to ensure safe equipment
Support test manager/leader to develop new test capability and competency to help build up new test capability and meet growing test need.
