At DePaul Hospital, we are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiology Technologist for our Cardiac/Interventional area to join our team. Additionally, we are offering a generous $15,000 sign-on bonus to the successful candidate.
As a Radiology Technologist in our Cardiac Cath Lab at DePaul Hospital, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include operating radiographic equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of diagnostic images. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a team of experienced professionals in a supportive and collaborative environment.
To be considered for this position, you should have a valid Radiologic Technologist license and be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred, but we also welcome applications from recent graduates who are eager to kick-start their career in radiology.

Job Summary:
Performs specialized imaging procedures such as angio, complex vascular and nonvascular and neuro interventional and therapeutic procedures, along with assisting the Radiologist/PA. The only registration requirement for this position is Radiography.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
Prepares and administers contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
Observes patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity. Monitors protocols and recommends updates or refinements as warranted.
Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
Ensures all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.
Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
Associate's degree or completion of a radiology certification programEXPERIENCE

Constant standing and walking.
Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more).
Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication.
Frequent use of hearing to distinguish body sounds and/or hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
Frequent lifting/moving of patients.
Frequent reaching, gripping and keyboard use/data entry.
Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
Occasional use of vision to identify and distinguish colors.
Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, twisting and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
Rare kneeling and sitting.
