About Radiology Tech Extender

　　DescriptionThis position is for current radiology program students. Eligible for Funding Healthcare Futures.Provides support and assistance to the radiologic Technologist in caring for patients and family members during the imaging process.Assisting the Radiologic Technologist by completing basic patient assessments including verifying patient orders, completing patient questionnaires, patient preparation and instructionCommunication with other members of the health care team to help coordinate patient careFacilitate patient care including, lifting, transport, chaperone and monitoring of patientsAssist with Radiology computer information and data entry including PAC system.Ensures the adequate availability of procedural supplies to include ordering and stocking patient care supply itemFollows hospital initiative in order to meet patient satisfaction goals.Equal Opportunity Employer -- minorities/females/veterans/individuals with disabilities/sexual orientation/gender identity
