Job Description Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated associate to join our team. As a RAD Business Systems Analyst, you will assist in providing systems support in developing and enhancing business systems with a focus on meeting stakeholder objectives, regulatory compliance, customer, and user experience.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
As a member of our team, you will also have opportunities to manage your projects from the planning and design phase through development and maintenance. This position includes conducting systems analysis, writing business requirements, leading testing campaigns, and supporting enhancements to existing applications. The position will also involve working closely with data scientists, analysts, and modelers to design, manage and champion the department's data strategy and product development practices. Additionally, it involves evaluating our business processes and driving efficiency and process improvements through the application of systems tools and/or automation. This is a great opportunity to work closely with various departments, manage projects, and to learn the skills required by the business and technology world!
Applicants should possess strong written and verbal communication skills, a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, a strong analytical ability, and a willingness to respond to ad hoc requests from customers in a timely manner. The candidate must be able to work independently with limited supervision after training, as well as be able to perform under pressure and multi-task.
Candidate Qualifications: Experience eliciting and documenting complex business and functional requirements from project stakeholders.Experience developing test plans and executing test scenarios to ensure the highest quality deliverables.Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field/equivalent experience is preferred.At least a 3.0 overall undergraduate GPA2Experience with the System Development Life CycleStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of Data Management concepts, including data modeling, architecture and data governance is preferred.Insurance industry experience is a plusScrum certification(s) or prior Agile experience is a plusSAS and SQL experience is a plusExperience with Microsoft Word and Excel are requiredPlease note this is a hybrid position which requires 3 days a week in our office in Washington DC area.
Annual Salary
$51,000.00 - $154,000.00
The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
