Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join the Regulatory Science Operations team as a Test Material Coordination Team - Associate. The Test Material Coordination Team - Associate role will be part of the Test Material Coordination Team, which is part of the Regulatory Science Operations Team. The Test Material Coordination Team - Associate will support test material planning, and to coordinate and execute test material ordering, synthesis, characterization, shipping requests for regulatory studies supporting global registrations. The Test Material Coordination Team - Associate will also be offered a diverse challenges and opportunities to provide impactful contributions to a broad set of customers. There is opportunity for cross-training to gain experience across several types of roles within Regulatory Science, including document management, database entry, and data review (quality control), managing study records and facility records.
Job Summary
Under direction and with support of Test Material Coordination Team, the Associate will:
• Respond to test material inventory questions.
• Navigate multiple internally developed tools, SharePoint sites, and web-based interfaces to execute test material orders, synthesis, GLP characterization, and shipment requests.
• Coordinate shipment requests with global contract research organizations (CROs) and across client locations.
• Serve as point of contact for test material inquiries, related to availability of test material inventory, status of requested test materials, status of GLP characterization, status of shipment.
• Provide real-time, transparent updates to stakeholders and customers of status of requests, and proactively notify stakeholders and customers of potential delays.
Under direction and with support of the Regulatory Science Operations Team, the Associate may be trained to support additional work processes, including:
• QC review of Regulatory Science raw study data and reports.
• Transcribe raw data into Excel.
• Digitize raw data notebooks
• Perform database entry
• Support drafting, review, and management of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Job Qualification
• 4-year degree from post-secondary institution required. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong chemistry and/or biochemistry background and industry experience.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, which includes ability to work effectively in a team environment and coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent computer skills, which includes proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and ability to learn internally developed software, tools, and web-based interfaces used for chemical inventory, ordering, and shipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work on several projects simultaneously, efficiently, and independently.
