HPC-Industrial , powered by Clean Harbors, is looking for a Quality System Coordinator to join their safety conscious team! This opportunity is based out of the La Porte, TX area. This team member will maintain the site Quality Management System to comply with HPC-Industrial Quality Standards. Collect, organize, monitor, and distribute information related to quality and process improvement functions, including but not limited to compliance to and documentation of quality management standard ISO 9001. Generate reports using computer skills and distribute those reports to various users in the organization or among customers and suppliers.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Industrial setting, refinery, petrochemical, utilities etc.
LOCATION OF WORK: La Porte, TX

Key Responsibilities:
Drive the site-based ISO 9001 quality program.
Implement HPC-Industrial standards into the value stream & drive to full compliance.
Facilitate the corrective and preventative action programs in compliance with HPC-Industrial standards.
Manage corrective action program to ensure compliance and provide direction for improvements.
Provide training on relevant QA/QC standards to site associates.
Document Control- Oversee site document control program and assure compliance via timely review and updates as required.
Manage the QC inspection of finished goods.
Physical demands:
Must be able to wear protective clothing or equipment. This includes but is not limited to and a hard hat.
Must be able to withstand exposure to dust, chemical and environmental, fumes (chemical and fluids), exhaust and highly pressurized fluids.
Must be able to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs
What does it take to work for HPC-Industrial?
Working knowledge of ISO standard 9001
Understanding of manufacturing and fabricating processes
Knowledge of welding processes and procedures
NDT Level II Certification (PT)
2+ years of experience in quality management systems
Ability to work effectively in cross functional teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Strong presentation skills
