Quality Engineer - Post Market (Hybrid)
Stryker is seeking to hire a Quality Engineer in San Jose, CA .
As part of the Endoscopy Quality team, customers and patients are at the heart of everything we do. Our Quality team maintains our brand of high-quality products.
Work Flexibility: Hybrid.
This role requires reasonable proximity to our Stryker facility. You should be comfortable working 3 days onsite.

What you will do
Identify opportunities to automate data processes to improve efficiencies in complaint and metric report-outs.
Statistically trend post market data to help support project prioritization for solving technical issues that arise from the field.
Analyze data, trend, and monitor KPIs (key performance indicators) for all products within the team.
Utilize KPI data to develop presentation and report-out materials.
Monitor product CAPAs and conduct occurrence calculations and data analysis to determine effectiveness.
Generate Post Market Surveillance Reports by compiling inputs from current product quality data, FDA MAUDE database, service data, and other sources.
Support Quality Systems initiatives and non-conformances as they relate to product quality issues.
Interface with other groups (Technical Service, Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing, etc.) to ensure accurate, complete, and efficient reporting of data.
Work with other members of the post-market Quality Team, supports products and plans and executes continuous improvement projects on these products.
Manage several products and be accountable for ensuring high quality and urgent customer support.
Troubleshoot and root cause customer complaints and develop design recommendations to improve product safety, reliability, or performance.
Develop, test, and implement design changes as well as coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure smooth implementation.
Visit customer sites to observe OR workflow, surgical procedures, and products in use to support timely quality investigation support
Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
What you need
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical, Software, Computer Science or related field)Preferred Qualifications
Data analysis experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work with constantly changing priorities.
Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
Proficient in PowerBI.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Strong organizational, problem-solving, root cause, and analytical skills.
Commitment to excellence and high standards.
Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
$74,100 - $115,300 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
