Siemens a global powerhouse, is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their Grand Prairie, TX plant. This individual will develop, modify, apply, and maintain quality standards for products and processes. Responsible to guide technical evaluations, analysis, and related data acquisition processes to ensure division quality objectives are achieved. This position will primarily be responsible for ensuring ISO documentation requirements are met as well as supporting resolution of quality related concerns related to internal and supplier nonconformances.
What you will do:
Supports production line with continuous improvement initiatives in process control, material cost reduction and capacity enhancement
Provide technical support analyzing and/or performing failure analysis
Documentation of non-conforming material, supplier corrective actions, and root cause analyses
Inspect product materials for defects
Tracks and records non-conforming returns for root cause and disposition
Tracks, records and verifies customer requests for repair
Supports internal customer base with inspection and potential repairs
Update our Quality Management System (QMS) with incidents, actions, and improvements
Ensure QMS documentation requirements are effectively implemented
Audit our systems based on ISO requirements
What you will need:
3-5 years’ experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
BS in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or relevant field (or equivalent experience)
Understanding of Quality tools
Exposure with BOMs, assembly drawings, engineering tolerances and first article processing
Understanding of technical documentation
Knowledge of quality practices and procedures, including use of metrics and statistical techniques
Intermediate level Microsoft Office products
What will set you ahead of the pack:
Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and testing methodologies
Additional certification in Quality Assurance
SAP experience
Six Sigma

• The pay range for this position is $53,410 - $111,840. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
