Responsible for inspection and verification of components during ongoing production. Prepare and fill out various paperwork.Required Qualifications:•Must have knowledge of basic computer programs, including but not limited to, Microsoft Excel, Word.•Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work effectively and with all areas of the organization.•Reading and understanding engineering drawing, GD&T’s, manufacturing specification, and data interpretation.•Completed on the job training for operating CMM, and VMM as well as manual VMM.•Extensive knowledge of various inspection gages and instruments.•Detail oriented with continuous mental and visual attention to detail, initiative, and judgment.•Must have training in ISO 13485 systems with experience maintaining quality system requirements.•Must have SAP and Unipoint software training.•A person must be a well-organized/neat worker.•Detail knowledge of inspection techniques, tools, and methodology•Ability to discern rejections based on dimensional or cosmetic properties.Specific Responsibilities:•Maintain condition of gages used in our operating system. This may require cleaning of the gages.•Perform in-progress inspection for all machined components.•Review operator inspection reports and traveler information.•Submit reports to shift supervisor and communicate the results to machine operators.•Perform First Article Inspection for new parts (set ups) as required under supervision. •Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, control standards.•Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.Reports to:Work Environment:•Work environment varies from office/computer to light industrial. Hearing and eye protection may be required at times.Necessary Education, Skills, and Competencies (including licensing and certifications):•High School Diploma, GED, or higher education•Knowledgeable of internal operations and ERP System •Ms office skills•Communication skills•Attention to details.
