What you will be doing
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages distribution quality assurance/quality control efforts for several ABSG locations.
Manages infrastructure appropriately for ISO/cMP in all ABSG distribution centers.
Provides guidance to Operations staff.
Responsible for cGMP Training & Audits, SOP Development, analysis of quality indicators and root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives related to distribution services.
Serves as primary distribution services quality contact for clients, customers and regulatory agencies.
Develops and trains distribution center quality supervisory staff.
Develops and implements cGMP / ISO audit for distribution centers.
Maintains effective working relationships with regulatory and client / customer quality organizations.
Conducts root cause analysis of DC quality issues.
Champions continuous improvement efforts.
Must be willing to work extended hours, as needed, in order to meet productivity goals.
Provides guidance and coaching to improve performance of staff.
Performs related duties as assigned.
What your background should look like
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelor's degree program. Normally requires a minimum of six (6) years directly related and progressively responsible experience, including at least two (2) years at a manager level; completion of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Manager (CQMgr), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) programs; multiple certifications highly preferred.
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Detailed understanding of warehouse operations and automated warehouse operating systemsThorough knowledge of regulatory compliance mattersAbility to communicate effectively both orally and in writingEffective presentation skillsAbility to train, motivate and direct the work of othersAbility to plan and conduct effective meetingsStrong analytical and mathematical skillsStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsStrong organizational skills; attention to detailAbility to meet deadlines and work in a production-driven environmentStrong decision making skillsExcellent problem solving skills; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
